Five years:
Three firefighters were honored for five years of service Saturday night by Chief John Coleman (left) and President Eric Mullins (center) Honored were: (from left) Lewis Bilbrough, John Sullivan and James Burke.

Members of the County Commissioners presented Certificates to three firefighers for their 20 or more years of service. Receiving certificates were (left to right) Front Row - Jack Moyer, 25 years of service; Ronnie Long, 20 years of active service and five years life membership; and Tom Davidson, 20 years of service. Commissioners making the presentations were: (left to right) Back - Virgil Shockley, Judy Boggs, James (Bud) Church, Linda Busick and Roberhurch, Linda Busick and Robert Cowger Jr.

Three firefighers were presented governor's Certificates and certificates from the Maryland House of Delegates by state officials Saturday night. FIREMAN of the YEAR:
As President Eric Mullins (left) looks on, Chief John Coleman (right) congratulates Frank Brown (center) for being named the Fireman of the Year. Frank is our current Treasurer. During the time since Frank joined the company in 1974 he has also served as Secretary, President and Fire Marshal.
